"Gabel’s teams did two jobs for us. First they did a backyard job that included ripping out old deck and laying new cement to match the existing pool deck and built some nice walls/sitting area around planters. This included a great covered area to keep the sun and rain out with lighting and fan. Love it! After that we tackled the master bathroom and they took it down to studs and provided us with a contemporary master bath. Couldn’t be happier with the team, prices, etc. Minor hiccups, like in any project were handled by Gabel."

"UHC assisted us with installation of a brand new air conditioner (HVAC) in our home. We have a 9 month old and his room is the hottest in the house, so I was pretty nervous going into the spring and summer Martinez heat waves with our air conditioner constantly breaking down. Bobby, the HVAC specialist was prompt, friendly, courteous and professional. He was also very knowledgeable and reliable. UHC owner, Gable, came to our home personally on two occasions, including to simply check in on the job and our satisfaction with the work! He was incredibly responsive throughout the process. Also, UHC was reasonably priced (we got a second quote) and the work has been excellent. UHC does everything and does it well. They also assisted with a master bath remodel for my parents in the Oakland hills after a leaky sink destroyed it. Their new bathroom is gorgeous with beautiful mirrors, cabinets, and countertops courtesy of UHC! I highly recommend UHC for your contractor needs!"

"Our bathroom was leaking and I was finding it hard to figure out the problem. I found UHC at a show and explained to them the problem. The agreed to come and take a look at the problem. Gable came did and initial assessment and provided me an estimate for the fix and did warn me of potential hidden problems. As he had expected we found additional problems and agreed to fix those with a new estimate. Gable has professional contractors who do a very good job, flexible with your needs and changes. He also recommended me to a wholesale vendor from whom I could purchase all my bathroom stuff at a discount. I have plans on doing more fixes to my house and will be calling UHC and Gable. Of no fewer than 4 bidders, it was UHC that submitted the winning proposal to re-pipe my entire 4BR/2BA home and to remodel the main bathroom, all of which also required extensive patching, texturing and painting of ceiling and drywall areas. The Payne brothers quickly tailored the project to tight specifications, and within my modest budget. I was able to remotely choose all of the new fixtures and flooring, which were installed exactly right - to my delight! UHC's work crews were on time, friendly, professional, safe, considerate and efficient. And they went above and beyond my expectations with many hidden personal touches; special thanks to Angel, Ricardo, Daniel and Jesús, and to whoever hauled away all the debris and cleaned up so nicely. "Stop what you're doing and listen to this. If you are looking for a home contractor in the area- look no more. Gable and his team are the best you will find in the whole east bay. In 2019 Gable came over to our pleasant hill house and sat down with us to review our plans for a brand new remodeled kitchen, new bathroom and new floors. He was able to work with our budget and build exactly what we wanted. He has great connections with other vendors for appliances, materials, floors and much more. He was able to introduce us to the right ppl and we were off to the races. Ryan came in and did most of the work with a smile on his face every day. His attention to detail was bar none as well.
